Community Outreach: Robotics Workshops
In the past, we've hosted one workshop per year, available to students grades six through eight. Each workshop focused on a group of approximately thirty kids, who enjoyed a variety of challenges that build their computational thinking abilities and their ability to use FTC Tetrix systems.

Unfortunately, we couldn't host a 102 and 103 workshop this semester due to scheduling issues. Post-comp, we plan to unveil a 001-003 series that is aimed towards younger kids, about 2nd through 5th grades.

Robotics 101 Workshop

At our first workshop of the year, sixth through eighth grade CPS students came to Northside for a day of robot programming. In groups of three or four students coded their robots to follow lines, solve mazes, avoid obstacles and write their initials.
